Course Synopsis:

We are living in a world where technology has become the director of most of our lives. Just about everything we do involves some sort of phone, tablet or computer. Our children are growing up in an era where it seems they have the advantage of already having a natural knack for use of this technology. However, secondary to the abundant use of technology, we are starting to see that children have decreased opportunities and exposure to real life/practical experiences to grow, develop and learn.

Technology is great, but its important to remember that a child still needs to engage in purposeful play to develop and reach their maximum potential. In this course, you will be learning about some play-based strategies that you can do with your children in order to assist with their natural development. You will learn about the importance of play as well as the essential components of play including fine motor skills, visual motor skills, sensory processing and everyday household tools/items that you can use to support play.  You will also learn about the first steps to take if you have any concerns with your child’s development.

If you would like to learn more about how you can help your child reach their maximum potential through basic play skills, please ENROLL TODAY! For any questions, comments or concerns please don’t hesitate to email me at
